“Made in Germany” stands for some of the highest quality standards globally, mirroring the rigorous criteria we apply to our product range. Most of our items are manufactured at our headquarters in Ahlen, Westphalia. This strategy not only helps protect precious resources by cutting down on long-distance transport and lowering our carbon footprint, but it also streamlines our entire eco-friendly production cycle.
Health-focused production
Our dietary supplements are manufactured in a 4000 m² facility, where items such as our Aloe Vera drinking gels, LR Mind Master, and Vita Active are produced on-site. We place a special emphasis on our aloe vera-based products. During production, we opt for gentle processing methods to maintain the potency and purity of the natural ingredients. Both the finished products and the manufacturing procedures undergo regular inspections by the SGS Fresenius Institute.
With an annual harvest of roughly 12000 tonnes of aloe vera leaves, LR Health & Beauty is currently among the world’s leading producers of aloe vera-based products.
Our company has the capacity to produce 30000 litres of Aloe Vera drinking gel every day.
The heart of production: the 6.50 metre mixers and storage tanks.
A standout feature for anyone visiting our Ahlen production facility for drinkable gels is the Skywalk Aloe Vera. This 40-metre-long glass walkway provides a direct view of the entire manufacturing process, from mixing to bottling and packaging. Visitors are often struck by the 6.5-metre-high tank and the 3 high-tech containers, each with a capacity of 30000 litres. It remains a highlight during our open days for our LR Partners!

Manufacturing our beauty range
Skincare products, including the Aloe Via Aloe Vera propolis cream, the Aloe Via Aloe Vera emergency spray, and the Zeitgard cleansing cream, are manufactured in our 1500 m² cosmetics production facility.
Approximately 32000 products leave the production line at the site every day.
Our cosmetic product manufacturing facility covers an area of 1500 m².
Our fragrances spend three weeks in the maturation warehouse before being bottled.
Before any finished product reaches our customers, the raw materials undergo a standardised process: first, incoming goods are inspected to ensure the quality and safety of every component. Next, all ingredients are precisely weighed in the pre-weighing room before being processed. Each ingredient is then mixed in individual vats to create a stable, uniform product.
During the final quality control phase, the quality assurance department takes samples to test for appearance, scent, and chemical composition against a specific testing catalogue. Only when a product meets every single criterion is it approved for the next stages: bottling and storage.
Our production methods are both sustainable and eco-friendly. We power our German site using 100% green electricity. Most of our folding cartons are made from FSC-certified paper, while various bottles and jars are produced from recycled or plant-based plastics.
